Tower of Light

Rewards Walkthrough
Enter the Tower of Light and battle Aelira the Fallen
Aelira has always been a diligent student and strived for knowledge. Possessing the magic of Light, she tried to absorb all the knowledge that her strict and strong teacher put into her young head... Aelira always dreamed of the same power. And she strove for greatness, without regard for others.
When the Invaders arrived, she betrayed the valley’s other mages for personal gain. With a gentle hand and the power of Light—answering the Leader’s call—she shattered the Necklace of Miella and opened the way for the Invaders. Having secured her promised reward, she took up residence in the Tower of Light—the very place her mentor had once loved so dearly.
Dungeon: Tower of Light
Basic information
How to get into the Tower of Light
The Tower of Light is located in the Halls of Secrets, which can be entered from the Sands of Desolation.
The fastest way is to teleport from the Vault in the Sands of Desolation to the Archivists' Excavations. Afterwards, you will need to go through the cave and run through all the Halls of Secrets.
The full path must be completed only to launch the dungeon. While the dungeon run is active (it has a one-hour time limit), defeated players can quickly return to the dungeon by speaking to the Teleportation Master in the Sanctuary.
Note: The dungeon closes automatically if there are no players inside for 5 minutes.
What is needed to complete the Tower of Light dungeon
To enter the dungeon, you must be at least level 70.
The dungeon features two difficulty modes: Normal and Hard. A group of at least three players is required for Normal mode, while Hard mode requires a group of five.
Regardless of the mode, it is recommended to have characters filling the Tank and Healer roles in the group. The Avenger and Paladin classes possess a toggleable ability called "Vanguard"; when dealing consistent damage, this ability allows the character to maintain the enemy's aggro (attention).

WALKTHROUGH GUIDE

Aelira the Fallen

Proper positioning is key to defeating Aelira. During the fight, Aelira uses the following special abilities: Chess Game, Wells of Light, Orb of Light, and Sacred Awe.
Important:
  • When Aelira uses any of the abilities listed above, player mistakes can restore some of her health. The more mistakes players make, the more health Aelira recovers.
  • During the fight, Aelira's room is sealed by a barrier. If you die, you can only rely on an ally to resurrect you. If you return to the Shelter, you will not be able to enter Aelira's room and rejoin the fight.
  • If the entire group is defeated, you can use the Teleportation Master to quickly travel from the Shelter to the entrance of the Tower of Light. Enter the Tower of Light and restart the fight once Aelira has recovered her health and the room has reopened.
In this guide, we'll cover each of Aelira's special abilities, as well as the overall flow of the fight.
Chess Game
Aelira periodically activates Chess Game throughout the fight. You must move into the empty squares (the ones without light) before the flash goes off. Each time a player is caught in a lit square, they take damage and Aelira recovers 1–2% of her health.
Wells of Light
Wells of Light may appear on random players without warning throughout the fight.
A player targeted by a Well of Light must leave it as quickly as possible.
Orb of Light
When Aelira is close to 50% health, move away from the center of the room and spread out.
At 50% health, Aelira teleports to the center of the room and summons the Orb of Light.
The Orb of Light generates waves that must be dodged. The waves are very easy to avoid near the edge of the room.
When a player is hit by a wave, they take damage and Aelira recovers health.
Aelira is invulnerable while the Orb of Light is active, so attacking her is not recommended.
Pay close attention when the Orb of Light releases its final waves: Wells of Light will appear on random players. At this point, it is especially important not to stand near other players (to avoid being caught in 2 Wells at once) and to dodge the Orb of Light's final waves.
Sacred Awe
At around 25% health, Aelira activates Sacred Awe.
Players must spread out around the room to destroy 6 Wells of Light.
Wells of Light will appear in random locations and disappear, while Aelira fires projectiles at every player. On impact, these projectiles create squares beneath their targets and inflict paralysis.
Players must stand very close to active Wells of Light so that the squares created by Aelira's projectiles flare up inside a Well and destroy it.
We recommend choosing the wells closest to your character.
As the Wells of Light are destroyed, a progress indicator will appear.
Be careful: the number of wells is fixed — the more progress you make, the fewer Wells of Light will appear.
If you take too long to destroy the Wells of Light, Aelira may recover some of her health.
But don't worry—she will not activate Sacred Awe again during the same fight.
Final part
When Aelira is low on health, she will place Wells of Light around the edges of the room.
You don't need to destroy them — the main thing is not to step into them.
At the same time, Chess Game will speed up: the intervals between activations will become shorter, and the Light explosions in the squares will go off slightly faster. In this phase, it is best to focus on leaving the lit squares in time while dealing damage whenever possible.
Enjoy the fight!
